Decks
Lower, Main, Upper and Sun decks are constructed of steel. Weather exposed portions are covered by Burma teak planking, sealed with SULA sealer
and treated with anti-slip protective coating. Vessel is fitted throughout
with a combination of steel/solid Iroko bulwark, topped with Burma teak
gunwales/stainless steel railings. Access to and from all decks via steel/teak
sheathed stairs.
Additional
Pegasus is a passenger tourist pleasure motor yacht certified to accommodate 49 passengers and 17 crew members. In 1997 the vessel was
lengthened according to SOLAS 74, as amended in 1993 and RINA class rules and
regulations. The ship was built under RINA class requirements and maintains
her class with RINA up to date with all the appropiate flag and trading
certificates in force. From August 2001 to April 2002, during major conversion, repairs, refurbishing
works and replacement of her main engines, the vessel further adjusted, where
necessary, to comply with SOLAS 2000 requirements. She is a twin screw, twin
hull (catamaran), passenger motor cruiser, of all welded steel construction,
with flared stern and sharp outboard transom, three decks, one subdivision
factor (F=1.0) 9 w.t compartments, 8 w.t bulkheads, 100 M.S.C 12/56
